“The body says what words cannot.”
Martha Graham (choreographer and dancer)
My journey into bodywork began alongside my career as a contemporary modern dancer. I spent years exploring the limits of human movement, conditioning and the physical demands of performance. It was through a love for movement, the injuries that came with, and a curiosity for continuous education that I discovered the profound power of the body. With a background in dance and athletics, I have an intuitive understanding of biomechanics and structural strength, but it’s my study of the craniosacral systems, massage therapy schooling at Discoverypoint and clinical work that has showed me how powerful the body truly is, and my love of play reminds me of how much fun we can have using it.
Healing can happen best, when we work with all systems of the body. I work with discipline, precision, creativity, joy, sensitivity and strength to listen to and assist my clients into improved function, as well as understanding, trusting, and caring for their bodies.
